The President of the Municipal Assembly is elected at the constitutive session of the Municipal Assembly from among the councilors, for the duration of the mandate of the Assembly, by a majority vote of the elected councilors.
The President of the Assembly performs his function professionally.

The Vice President of the Municipal Assembly is elected at the constitutive session of the Municipal Assembly from among the councilors, for the duration of the mandate of the Assembly, by a majority vote of the elected councilors.
The Vice President of the Assembly performs his function voluntarily.

SECRETARY OF THE ASSEMBLY
The Secretary of the Municipal Assembly is elected and appointed by the Municipal Assembly for the duration of his term, from among law graduates with at least five years of work experience in the profession and passed the professional exam for work in the administrative service or bar exam.
The Municipal Assembly elects and appoints the Secretary of the Municipal Assembly after the public announcement procedure, in accordance with the Law, by a majority vote of the total number of councilors, and for the duration of the mandate of the Municipal Assembly.
