COMPETENCES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE:

- coordination of work and cooperation with competent state bodies, organizations and institutions, as well as scientific and other professional

- organizations and institutions, within the scope of authority,

- coordination of work with other organizational units in the municipal administration,

- preparation of preliminary drafts, drafts and proposals of the Budget and control of the intended use of budget funds,

- preparation of financial statements, in accordance with the Rulebook on Financial Reporting,

- monitoring of revenues and execution of budget expenditures,

- management and control of cash inflows and outflows,

- control of regularity and legality of use of budget funds,

- monitoring the realization of public revenues of the municipality,

- harmonization of records on public revenues with banks and competent tax authorities,

- monitors the execution of the budget, by holders and users of funds,

- pays the obligations of budget users, collects and systematizes data on contracts and realized loans, donations and guarantees,

- financial, material and accounting operations of the municipal administration and other users financed from the municipal budget,

- preparation of the Work Program and reports on the work of the Department,

- applies the regulations of the Municipal Assembly and the Mayor, monitors the situation in the areas for which it was established, initiates solutions and proposes resolving issues in those areas,

- preparation for the Municipal Assembly and the Mayor of the municipality development plans, drafts and proposals of decisions, other regulations, general and individual acts,

- prepares analytical-informative and other materials for the areas within its scope,

- performs other tasks as ordered by the Mayor.
